This marked the first time Sri Lanka’s newly elected officials participated in this prestigious event, aiming to enhance the country’s presence in international gymnastics governance.
The 29th National Gymnastics Championship, held in January 2025, served as the selection trial for the upcoming Asian Gymnastics Championship. This event was pivotal in identifying top talents to represent Sri Lanka on the continental stage.
