WAG FIG Judges’ Course – XVI Cycle (2025–2028)
The Women’s Artistic Gymnastics (WAG) FIG Judges’ Course for the XVI Cycle was successfully held in Doha, while the Men’s Artistic Gymnastics (MAG) course was conducted in Japan. Representing Sri Lanka in WAG, three judges—Ridma Gynathilaka, Aminda Rathnayaka, and Amaya Kalukottage—participated in the course and passed the examination. Ridma and Aminda were awarded FIG Category 4 certification, while Amaya Kalukottage earned a prestigious FIG Category 3 certification.
In addition, Sammera Ekanayaka successfully completed the MAG judges’ course and obtained a FIG Category 4 certification. These achievements mark a significant step forward in strengthening the technical foundation of gymnastics in Sri Lanka.
